These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by AETIOLOGY LTD (“me”, “I”, “my”, or “we”) at desireedespong.com (the “Site”). By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I will post the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
The Site is intended for adults. You may not use the Site if you are under the age of thirteen, or if you are not able to form a binding contract.
These Terms apply to your use of the Site, including pages about my philosophy, speaking, book, and related content. They do not automatically cover purchases, products, or services offered on other websites, such as LymphCentral, which have their own terms.
The Site shares educational information about lymphatic health, my clinical experience, speaking, and forthcoming publications. Nothing on the Site is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
You are responsible for your own health decisions. Always consult an appropriate practitioner before starting, changing, or stopping any protocol, product, or therapy. I am not responsible for outcomes that result from relying on information on the Site.
Unless otherwise noted, the Site and its content (including text, design, graphics, logos, photographs, layout, and the “Desiree De Spong” name) are owned by me or my licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may view and share pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content or remove any notices. You may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, or use Site content for commercial purposes without my prior written permission.

If you submit a newsletter signup, speaking enquiry, or other form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that I may use it as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting a form does not create a speaking booking, client relationship, or other contract unless we later confirm that in writing.
You can unsubscribe from email messaging at any time using the link in those emails.
Information about speaking topics, availability, and the forthcoming book (including the March 2027 release date) is provided for general information. Details may change. A speaking engagement, workshop, or book purchase is only confirmed when I (or my publisher or booking contact) agree that in writing, subject to any separate agreement.
The Site may link to other websites, including LymphCentral, social media, and resources I do not operate. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices. I am not responsible for their content, products, or policies. Following a link is at your own risk.
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AETIOLOGY LTD, Desiree De Spong, and our team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Site.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that limitation is not allowed.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AETIOLOGY LTD and Desiree De Spong from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own fraud or wilful misconduct.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You agree that the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, except where applicable consumer law gives you a right to bring a claim in another place.
